This past Sunday, Seth was ordained at Countryside Christian Church. This was a time where Seth made a public commitment to working in ministry and his church leaders confirmed that he is able to do so. The whole experience was really wonderful and a big encouragement to us. Many people came to the service - men and women from the church who watched Seth grow up his entire life. Women who were his Sunday school teachers from kindergarten on up were there and that was such a neat thing! We felt really supported and challenged from the words spoken and the example of the many Godly people there. Above is a picture of us with Seth's parents Steve and Karen, and Seth's sister Shelby.
Here are a few snapshots of the event:

Seth preaching - I loved the sermon. It was about comparing a wasted life to a life well-spent, and how we can live our lives in a way that it is not wasted.
The eldership from Countryside prayed over Seth and officially gave him their blessing to serve in ministry.
